Suzanne L. Wenzel, PhD, is interim dean and Richard and Ann Thor Professor in Urban Social Development in the Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work, University of Southern California. With National Institutes of Health sponsorship, she has conducted interdisciplinary research for more than two decades to understand and address behavioral health, social, community, and service needs among persons who are marginalized in society, particularly individuals experiencing homelessness. She has served on study sections for NIH and other national and international health science organizations, participated in National Academies of Sciences panels, and consulted for the White House Office of National AIDS Policy. She has published more than 100 peer-reviewed journal articles.
