One of the most important contributions our Fellows can make is supporting the next generation of scholars. Mentors encourage outstanding research and practices that help resolve society’s problems.
Our mentoring program gives early-career faculty access to established Fellows who can mentor them in their academic careers. Fellows mentoring assists scholars who benefit from the skills and knowledge of prominent members in our field.
The 2023-2024 Academy Mentoring Program is now accepting new mentors and mentees! We welcome assistant professors in social work education programs to apply and encourage scholars from smaller or diverse backgrounds to become part of the program. Mentees are matched to a mentor based on research topic area, methodology and other career needs.
Mentorship applications for 2023-2024 (Deadline August 21, 2023)
