In 2009 The California Mental Health service Authority (CalMHSA) embarked on a $147 million campaign to prevent suicides. Eliminate stigma and discrimination, and improve student mental health. This project has been evaluated by the Rand corporation showing significant return on investment, changes in attitudes and behavior and some ongoing surveillance of normative perceptions of mental health. This is the first we have heard of you and it might be the first you have heard of us. For the last four years we have been presenting at the APHA convention and look forward to meeting some of you in Denver this year.
